Welcome to The Queens
The Queens has stood on High Street under the Queen's portrait for generations, a granite-fronted pub two minutes' walk from St Ives harbour.
Inside it is everything a town pub should be: tartan settles and scrubbed wooden tables, a marble fireplace lit in winter, a pool table, and screens for the match. Tribute pours at the bar, the kitchen turns out reasonably priced pub food and a proper Sunday roast, and bands set up in the window on music nights.
Upstairs are the newly refurbished bedrooms — beamed ceilings, sea-striped cushions and rooftop views towards the water. Beaches, galleries and the harbour are all within a five-minute stroll.
