Our story

Welcome to The Queens

The Queens has stood on High Street under the Queen's portrait for generations, a granite-fronted pub two minutes' walk from St Ives harbour.

Inside it is everything a town pub should be: tartan settles and scrubbed wooden tables, a marble fireplace lit in winter, a pool table, and screens for the match. Tribute pours at the bar, the kitchen turns out reasonably priced pub food and a proper Sunday roast, and bands set up in the window on music nights.

Upstairs are the newly refurbished bedrooms — beamed ceilings, sea-striped cushions and rooftop views towards the water. Beaches, galleries and the harbour are all within a five-minute stroll.

Bacon, sausage, black and white pudding, mushrooms and a soft-yolked egg — worth staying the night for on its own.

“A nice little pub in the middle of St Ives, with reasonably priced bar meals. The pub has a pool table and a few screens for watching sports. The barman was really friendly and helpful too.”

“Awesome staff! We had a large group of 7. We ate all of our food. Delicious! We had burgers, fries, onion rings, prawn salad, plowman platter, beef stew, veggies lasagna, and tomato basil pasta. Everything was yummy.”
